Kerrville Well Drilling is a locally owned water well contractor working ranch and acreage property in and around Kerrville, Texas. We drill deep-rock wells on the Edwards-Trinity plateau, deepen and re-drill wells that a drought pulled down, replace pumps and pressure tanks, build storage for low-yield wells, inspect and test wells for buyers, and plug old wells to code. The thing that separates a Hill Country well that lasts from one that fails is work nobody sees on the quote. The hole gets drilled deep to a zone that holds through a drought, not stopped at the first water to save a day. The casing seals the upper section so surface water never runs down into the drinking water. The pump gets set low enough to stay under water in a dry summer, and sized to a deep well so it does not short-cycle itself to death at the bottom of a long hole. Set that against a well finished shallow and a pump dropped in fast.

Kerr County is deep rock and dry summers, and the ground usually makes the decision. Reliable water is down in the hard limestone, and the droughts pull the shallow zones away, so the honest well is a deep one. That is the whole argument for reading the nearby wells and drilling for the zone that lasts before anyone talks price.

We also say no. A routine water test on a well that is running fine does not need a driller standing over it, and whole-house treatment is a specialist's trade, not ours. If your problem is not one we do best, we will tell you and point you to who does. And we will not sell you a deeper hole when the water is still there and the pump was simply set too high. The measurement settles it, and we let it.
