Where We Work
Kerr County is home ground, and Kerrville sits at the center of it. There is very little utility water out here. Past the edge of town, and across nearly all of the Hill Country around it, every home runs on a private well, and that is our whole map.
The work crosses several county lines, and that matters here, because each county sits under its own groundwater district. Kerrville, Ingram, Center Point, Hunt, and Mountain Home are in Kerr County under the Headwaters district. Comfort is in Kendall County, Harper and Fredericksburg in Gillespie County, and Bandera in Bandera County, each with its own district. We file the permit with the one your parcel actually sits in, so a well drilled near a county line does not stall.
The ground barely changes across that map. It is hard Edwards-Trinity limestone from one end to the other, reliable water is deep, and the droughts are real. New wells on ranch tracts, deeper holes for wells that a dry summer pulled down, and storage for low-yield wells are the steady work out here, from the Guadalupe canyons around Hunt to the high divide near Harper.
